Launch party for “Blarney Castle and Gardens”
Our Launch party for “Blarney Castle and Gardens” new audioguide.
The last few weeks have gone by in a blur getting ready for our newest launch out in @BlarneyCastle. The whole team at In Hand Guides worked tirelessly in getting everything prepared for it which thank god went off without a hiccup. We even managed to get the sun onside for it.
Our newest audioguide has brought together Blarney Castle, Cronin’s Coaches and @InHandGuides to provide a Cork City to Blarney bus service and a world class audio tour of a world renowned tourist attraction.
The launch ran very well from the moment we stepped foot into the “Courtyard on Sober lane” with Pulses of Tradition playing music and their dancers providing the entertainment. Following some finger food and drinks we got the new Blarney open top bus from the Grand Parade out to Blarney Castle for the second part of our launch.
Once we arrived out in Blarney everyone received an audioguide and enjoyed a walk past the castle listening to it on their way to the courtyard and stables for the second half.
On arrival we were entertained by more traditional musicians provided by Blarney Castle as well as a feast fit for a banquet with wine, sandwiches and cakes. The staff in Blarney helped out so much with this launch and I want to give special thanks to Paul O’ Sullivan and of course Sir Charles.
Following Speeches from our CEO Trevor Winckworth and Paul from Blarney Castle thanking everyone our party made its way back to the open top bus for their return to the City Centre.
I want to say special thanks to our own Conor Tallon whom without this wouldn’t have happened. We engaged the expertise of Sinead Dunphy from Little shoe PR and without her we wouldn’t have got the great shots and our fantastic model for the picture above of Eryn Twomey O’Sullivan.
Our first big launch party and a great success for all involved. I can’t wait for our next one.
